The biggest shocker this season is that Dr Vogel is considering to introduce the code to Zach, much like she did to Dexter via his father, Henry Morgan. The code is what kept Dexter from going trigger happy on everyone, instead the code taught him to kill only the killers - and then dispose of evidence to avoid getting caught.

If Dr Vogel does introduce the code to Zach, it would be interesting to see whether he has Dexter's discipline to stick to it. Though this is just a theory - it seems like Zach would get off scot-free without any legal repercussions on him and Dexter seems to be waiting in the wings for his end justice-kill. On the other hand, Dr Vogel wants to "study" Zach - her time with the brain surgeon not withstanding! So Dexter wants to kill and Vogel want to wait - how will this all end? In some blood spatter for sure.

Deb on the other hand seems to be lightening up finally, and seems to be coming to terms with what she did and what Dexter does. The mystery seems to be on Quinn now - miffed about Angie Miller's promotion over him, he seems to be telling Dexter that hew know what Dexter is doing. Hardly - while it does seem that he has caught Dexter stalking someone, most of the Miami Dade PD don't seem to be brightest bulbs around - most likely its Quinn blowing off steam at Dexter for not giving him anything on Zach.

So, will Dexter kill Zach, or end up grooming him to be the new Dexter? And what does Vogel get out of this?
