Gamers all over the world were joyful when the rumors about the availability of Diablo 3 in PS3 and Xbox were circulating rapidly in the web. Rumors about the availability of Diablo 3 in PS3 and Xbox are still unknown but there are certain hints which supports these rumors.

One of which is an ad from a German retailer. The ad states that the retailer is selling Diablo 3 for a Playstation 3 version. The supposed version is slated for a 2012 release and it will have a "brand new feature" and it has a selling price of around €66.66 which equates to around US$83.27. Coolshop.DK, a Danish retailer have also listed Diablo 3 with a PS3 and Xbox release. Most of the supposed listing for Diablo 3 for PS3 or Xbox are all European retailers. No listing has yet appeared from American retailers. This ignited speculations that Europe would be the first ones to experience Diablo 3 in PS3 and Xbox 360.

Though no official announcement has been made over this matter, there are already hints that the company is going with this next step for Diablo 3. Other people who are involved with the development of Diablo 3 also expressed that the company is very much geared towards that direction.

Leonard Boyarski, the senior world designer of Blizzard remarked that they are "continuing to explore" the possibility of Diablo 3 as a console relese.

COO Paul Sams of Blizzard also expressed the same sentiment stating "We think that the way we built it for the PC may need some tweaking, but it will ultimately be the type of game that can really make sense and be really fun, well polished and a true Blizzard-level experience on a console."

Jay Wilson, the director for the Diablo 3 game mentioned that the studio has never invested in console development as it has with Diablo 3 while lead designer Joshn Masqueira has mentioned that they are "very serious" about their console version.

Even if the rumors about the availability of Diablo 3 as a console game are plentiful, Blizzard has not released any statement to officially confirm or deny these rumors. If the rumors are true, it would be interesting to see how Diablo 3 would transition as a console game.
