A former president and one of the hottest names in Hollywood are going on a "day date"-but it's all for a good cause!

Business Insider reports that the "Django Unchained" star Leonardo DiCaprio won a date with former U.S. President Bill Clinton at Sean Penn's J/P Haiti Relief Organization charity gala. And it's not just any date because it's set to be worth $400k.

In a report from E! Online, during the actual bidding, DiCaprio was set at $100K, but having been outbid by a rival woman bidder, the two agreed to combine efforts and cough up a whopping $400K to spend time with the ex-president.

DiCaprio also attempted a another bid for the charity with an Explore Bhutan vacation package, but unfortunately lost to higher bidder, none other than the niece of Giorgio Armani, Roberta, according to Daily Express.

Oscars Snub

DiCaprio has been making headlines the past couple of days, as the list of nominees for The Oscars 2013 was released without his name on it.

Even director Quentin Tarantino expressed his disappointments for the snub, reports Toronto Sun, after Dicaprio's give-all performance during the shoot. Total Film reports that DiCaprio even shed blood for a scene involving a glass shard in his palm.

However, Django Unchained has raked in awards, including Christoph Waltz's supporting-actor win and director Quentin Tarantino's Best Screenplay nod in the Golden Globes.

"Django Unchained", Tarantino's 8th film to date, is a spaghetti western story in the Deep South on American slavery and stars Jamie Foxx, Waltz, DiCaprio, Samuel L. Jackson, and Kerry Washington.
