Did Elizabeth Hurley leave her heart in Australia?
Onlookers describe the couple visibly cool as they parted ways in Melbourne Airport Tuesday night.
Elizabeth Hurley has reportedly left Australia with a heavy heart, a strong indication that the whirlwind romance with cricket legend, Shane Warne is headed nowhere, but to Splitsville.
It was indeed an eventful week for Elizabeth Hurley, the British actress and model who had set foot in Melbourne in hopes to spend Valentine’s Day and her whole week, with her beau, Australian king spinner, Shane Warne.
Now an organic farmer, Liz has undeniably achieved what she came out to Down Under for.
At least, most of them.
While she spent most of her time away from the eyes of the camera lenses and the throngs of reporters outside the Brighton mansion and inside the bunker with the ladies’ man, the former English model had social responsibilities to attend to.
After hours and days of staying indoors following her arrival at Shane’s Brighton mansion, Hurley was seen dropping some bags of supplies to Shane’s parents, followed by a warm getting-to-know bonding with the spinner's three kids. Jackson, Shane's son, handed Hurley a nicely arranged white lilies as the popular girlfriend of Daddy's arrived their home.
But a day after the ‘kiss-and-tell’ interview with adult entertainer, Conrad Cloe, Hurley knew, she had no reason to stay at Melbourne. According to The Age, the actress flew out of Australia on Tuesday.
The news on Shane’s cheating scandal came on Monday, one day after “Harnie” outed as a couple: they were seen walking hand in hand in public when they attended the wedding of the Shane’s friend on Sunday.
The Age noted that Entertainment Reporter, Peter Ford said that onlookers had described the couple visibly ‘cool’ when they saw Warne taking Hurley and dropping her off to Melbourne Airport Tuesday evening.
And by cool, Ford elaborated, echoing the words of interviewed onlookers, according to The Age: "There was no kissing, or smooching or emotional farewell scenes."
Ford did not discount the fact however, that the couple could have opted not to be in their usual playful selves -- oblivious of those around them - - as they bade goodbye at the airport.
The entertainment reporter insisted, said the Age, that ‘there was something different’ in the whole picture. Something has changed compared to how Liz were in the past week, and the onlookers could attest that Shane is in a lot of trouble.
"That may be because they simply didn't want to turn it into a circus and that would really be the money shot, if you like, had they done that for anybody who was there," the reporter said. "But people who saw them felt that there was a coldness there”.
There was no formal statement from both parties as to where they’re relationship is going following the sex revelation of porn star, Chloe Conrad.
People are in the dark if the couple are still together after the Conrad's interview with Sunday Mirror, detailling the steamy sex and the saucy text messages sent by Sharne to the adult entertainer. These unwanted news for Hurley was made public a day after they themselves have made their growing romance public and more official.
And more importantly, there were no words either, as to whether or not Hurley will give Warne another chance.
The only words that came after the kiss-and-tell interview with Conrad by the Sunday Mirror were the ‘cryptic message’ left by Hurley on her Twitter account on Monday.
This is not the first setback of the whirlwind romance between Harnie, as indicated earlier. This is the second cheating scandal Shane was implicated to, while romancing with Hurley. The first was when he admitted texting another woman of the same nature of messages, in December last year.
And her Twitter message and the cold farewell at the airport can tell you where the relationship is going. And it sure tells you that Shane has again rocked the boat of his relationship with Hurley. It will not be much of a surprise for the fascinated Australia and the whole world, if Hurley took her heart with her as she left Melbourne and keep it in London where it now belongs.
