There have been reports several days ago that '21 Jump Street' star, Jonah Hill, needed rescue from almost drowning while swimming in Australia. However, the cute and chubby comedian said that he was just trying to enjoy the moment which was so awesome when feeling wasted at times.

Jonah was with his co-star, Channing Tatum , in Sydney to promote their new movie, and they decided to take a refreshing swim right after they got themselves a few drinks early in the morning.

Jonah shared with News.com.au that when he was swimming at Tamarama beach, he looked back and saw that his actor friend was already at a far distance. Then there were two surfing guys who told him that he should not be on that distance portion of the ocean.

According to the actor, there was no drowning drama that happened and instead he swam back easily to reach Channing and then they both got out of the water safe.

But we all know how news stories turn out in Hollywood.

Suddenly, there were rumours of rescuing the funny actor saying he was 'sort of rescued' by the two guys he met. Jonah said that the rumour was not good at all because it made him feel and look like a baby and a loser who needs to be rescued.

He added that he definitely had a good time during that swim that he even joked around the possibility of choking a shark.

Even as early as 9:30 am, the two actor friends admitted they were already 'wasted' with the drinks they had, justifying that for them, it was still night time from the country they came from. So talk about a great relief for a jetlag.
