Did Timbaland attempt suicide?

Timbaland's mother-in-law made a 911 call stating that that rapper was near a cliff and was "tired of the stress." Sources quoted by TMZ revealed that Los Angeles Sheriff's Department sent out a "possible suicide attempt" broadcast last Tuesday after receiving the call.

According to reports, Timbaland left his home upset after being told by his brother over the phone that his Jacob & Co. watch was stolen from his Malibu residence. The watch is valued at $2 million.

Authorities are investigating the crime with the rapper suspecting that it was done by someone he trust.

Deputies were able to locate Timbaland after the rapper was spotted by a helicopter. He was sent home after it was determined that his life was not in danger.

The Sheriff's Department told TMZ that "initial information provided to the Sheriff's dispatch suggested that Timbaland might have taken some sort of medication that would make finding him more urgent."
