News about Kate Upton's rumoured boyfriend, "Dancing with the Stars" dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, out on a date with a mysterious brunette woman has surfaced on the Internet over the last couple of days.

On Tuesday, Chmerkovskiy was spotted in New York with a woman, as reported by RumorFix. They were seen at Cipriani restaurant in Soho. Apparently, Chmerkovskiy and the mysterious woman had their arms around each other.

Upton's alleged romantic relationship with Chmerkovskiy all started during the summer, when the two were almost frequently seen together.

They were last seen together when they went to the after parties of the recent MTV Video Music Awards. "There was lots of P.D.A.," a source said.

Upton neither talked much about her relationship with Chmerkovskiy nor confirmed if the two of them are actually a couple. However, during the New York Fashion Week at the Style Awards, the issue was brought up and she was asked about it. "We're just friends," she politely answered.

Well, did Upton just didn't want to reveal the real score between the two of them? If they really did become an item, could they have broken up before the news spread and Chmerkovskiy moved on very quickly?
