Different Phones, Different Systems: Nexus 4 vs ATIV S, iPhone 5, and HTC Droid DNA
If the first day sale of Nexus 4 were an indicator, it would be a Merry Christmas for Google since reports said that within hours, consumers snapped up units in Australia, United Kingdom and several other nations after the stores opened.
As a result of the fast sales, the Google Play site suffered because interested buyers who could no longer find available units were advised to order their Nexus 4 online.
Android fans who were able to purchase the Nexus 4 can also order the new Nexus smartphone via Google Play. The much awaited release of the newest line of Nexus 4 is expected to boost Google's sales in the coming months.
The Nexus 4 16GB costs $399 and has a delivery charge of $19.99, while the Nexus 4 8GB costs $349 with delivery charge as well.
The release of the Google Nexus 4 is good timing for other competitors that are releasing new devices running different OS like the HTC Droid DNA and Samsung ATIV S. According to the Google Web site, it has the latest hardware and software technology for all the needs of users.
Google Nexus 4.
Nexus 4 has the best of Google services almost exclusively to it. For information demands like traffic situations and train schedule, the Google Now is available for use, and it is more organised which includes upcoming flight schedules, restaurant reservations, hotel confirmations, and nearby photo opportunities.
Another information feature is the Google Voice Search, powered by Knowledge Graph which delivers precise answer.
For users who love taking photos and video recording, Nexus 4 has an 8MP camera with Photo Sphere images that lets the user capture every detail. The Photo Sphere feature is similar to watching a 3D movie with glasses on, giving users the feeling of "as if you were there."
If the user wants simultaneous video recording and snap still shots, Nexus 4 offers this function rarely found in other smartphones. Nexus 4 has Movie Studio which enables movie creation with capability to upload in YouTube.
