A professional team from a Czech Republic volleyball league knows how to sell their games—and themselves.

The team of Volejbal Brno stripped naked in a video to promote their matches and it appears to have worked basing on the reaction of some of its female fans.

"If your jerseys are the same as in the video I'll be there:-D," said a certain Zuzana Tresanakova and “This is probably the best advertising I've seen:-D:-D." from another fan, Eva Mrhalkova.

The English translation from the cards reads, “Hi. Come on 14.12 at 16.00 and look at this show."

"After a training session we felt really positive that we would win and pumped up so we decided to entice our female fans with our own volley balls,” said Volejbal Brno team captain Vlado Katona.

"The lads decided to attract more attention. I like that they can pull together and do things like this,” added their head coach Martin Gerza. “It’s not offensive and is a great marketing move by the guys."

Since releasing the video on YouTube, Brno has lost two straight games against Ostrava in five sets and versus Liberec in four sets. For the season, Brno has only three wins against 10 losses. They have lost back-to-back games and have lost four of their last five.

Yes, fans came in droves in recent games but the naked truth is, the Volejbal Brno is still one of the worst teams in the Czech Republic. And no marketing gimmickry can change that.
