The hype is growing. “World of Warcraft” game fans got a mighty surprise when Legendary Pictures put up an impressive fan-experience for the upcoming Duncan Jones directed movie “Warcraft” in China’s Chengdu. Fans have been eagerly waiting for a “Warcraft” movie update. As is known by many, Blizzard Entertainment’s games are extremely popular in Asian countries. Hence, the installation was put up there. It’s the biggest movie-themed exhibition ever in China.

Fans will get the chance to be face-to-face with amazingly life-like character statues and over 150 costumes, weapons and props, right out of the movie.

[Spoiler Alert] Jones has expressed his desire to make a trilogy out of the immensely popular game series. According to Crossmap, Jones has concentrated more on character development, culture and place for his move “Warcraft” rather than focusing on the conflict between humans and orcs.

Moreover, he also mentioned how Peter Jackson successfully created a movie franchise out of J. R. R. Tolkien’s “Lord of the Rings.” He says that in case he does his job right in upcoming “World of Warcraft” movie adaptation, people will definitely want to see more as there is plenty to tell.

“I would love to be part of that process of expanding on the lore that makes up Warcraft, but it will all depend on what you, the audience, think of our first film!,” Jones added.

According to Christian Post, At first the movie was slated for a December 2015 release. However, the “Warcraft” movie release date coincided with that of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” Hence, it was pushed back to March 2016. Then again, March 2016 was probably a bad choice as Zack Snyder directed “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is set to release that month. Now, the movie will hit the theatres on June 10, 2016.

Jones, when asked on what fans can expect from the movie has something interesting to share.

“From the moment I first talked to Blizzard, the plan was to start our film with the first time Orcs met Humans. First contact!,” he said.
