If you are a Disney star at any point in life, controversy is your second name. The fact has been proved many times earlier with a couple of artists (read Miley Cyrus, Amanda Bynes and Britney) and even recently with former Disney star Dylan Sprouse. In a desperate bid to prove he is all grown up, Dylan "accidentally" leaked his full frontal nude pictures on the Internet.

The former child star of Disney looks all grown up in the photos, which are mostly taken in his bathroom by a camera phone. Since it is quite clear from the pictures (which you can view here) that it is him, Sprouse went on Twitter to apologize, where he has gained half a million followers in 24 hours!

"Whoops, guess I'm not 14 and fat anymore," wrote the 21-year-old on Twitter.

"I messed up... but I'd be a fool not to own up to it. Got to move past it I suppose," the "Suite Life of Zack & Cody" added the actor.

The Twitterati went crazy seeing Sprouse in his birthday suit with many people admiring his hot body while other making fun of it.

"Hi I'm Dylan Sprouse and you're watching the Sweet life on D-ck," writes one Twitter user chaechae.

"Dylan Sprouse's nudes are not the problem, Cole Sprouse's ponytail is the problem," writes another Twitter user lilyan.

Ever since the nudes got leaked Monday, Dylan has not even once denied taking them or not owning the responsibility. In fact the actor has also come out with an explanatory statement on his Tumblr blog where he confessed the pictures were sent to the "wrong hands."

"The real problem here was not me sending my pictures to someone, but rather, sending them to the WRONG someone. The real travesty is a misplaced trust, and while I am certainly to blame for it, it is a shame that my private life was somehow forcibly dragged into the public's perception of me," writes the actor.

However Dylan also added that he is proud of his nudes. "To be blunt, I was proud of my progress in the gym, thought I looked hot, and wanted to share it."

Looks like Dylan had an impression in his mind that he would be subjected to criticism by parents group where people see him as a role model. Dylan went ahead and apologised in advance for it and even expressed his regret.

"What is wrong is that, generally I try to stay cool and collected with my prose and a role model for kids (maybe not anymore shamefully) and this seemingly inconsequential act will likely affect the youth's impression of me," added Dylan.

It's a refreshing change to see Dylan own up the responsibility for what he did and take the incident lightly rather than shying away from it. Dylan has also went ahead and made a T-shirt where his naked selfie is pasted! Check it out here.

"P.S. please stop sending me nudes you will not get any in return despite popular evidence," Dylan concludes his blog cheekily!
