Theo James "Divergent" girlfriend Shailene Woodley preparing for "Beefcake" cast boyfriend for "Insurgent"? Hot actor talks going shirtless for four as intense workout results in "Dynamic Masculinity."

The current heartthrob of nation, Theo James has recently revealed that it was not easy for him to achieve the beefed up look for "Divergent." Shailene Woodley's rumored boyfriend recently confessed to Elle magazine that he placed lot of efforts to achieve the masculine look for the movie.

"I had to put on a lot of weight, in terms of muscle," he revealed, adding, "I wanted my character to have a dynamic masculinity and not just look like a f**king beefcake."

James who is now prepping up for the second and third Installment "Insurgent" and "Allegiant" had previously thought that getting into the shape for the character would be relatively easy process.

He revealed to Total Film magazine as per BeautyWorldNews, "It was quite funny because I can kind of consider myself fairly in shape. I've done some martial arts and boxing before."

Woodley's alleged lover further said that when he was doing the costume trial, Neil told him that he needs to be more powerful for the role and it is then that James did vigorous training in gym for a month.

Theo James will soon start shooting for "Insurgent" with Shailene Woodley and those who have read the book would know that in the second book romance will become steamier between Tris (Shai) and Four (Theo). It is being speculated that the rumored girlfriend and boyfriend will get closer during the shoot of second installment as they will get to spend more time together on sets.

During her recent appearance at MTV awards Woodley had also revealed her excitement to team up with James once again.
