'Divergents' Shailene Woodley Debuts Emma Watson Inspired Pixie Cut
"Harry Potter's" Emma Watson definitely shocked her fans when she chopped off her long brown locks for a pixie cut immediately after the "Harry Potter" finale. Obviously, Emma wanted a big change in her life and her hair style was a start. The pixie cut apparently inspired "Divergent's" Shailene Woodley but it wasn't all because of Watson but for Woodley's upcoming flick "The Fault in Our Stars."
During Elle's 20th Annual Women in Hollywood party, Shailene Woodley showed up with a chick pixie cut that would remind fans of Emma's look back in 2010. The "Divergent" star showed off her cute cut which she paired off with a tunic dress.
This counts as the first time Shailene has stepped out all glammed up. Recently, Woodley was seen lugging around an oxygen tank for scenes in "The Fault in Our Stars" opposite Ansel Elgort. Production for the film adaptation of John Green's novel had wrapped up in Amsterdam. Now, Woodley is focused on promoting her other flick "Divergent." As for Shailene's flick, "Divergent," there might have been a bit of mishap that occurred while filming.
"I got to do some crazy stuff," said Woodley, adding, "I got really hurt."
"I have a scar on my chest [and] a scar on my hip, but all good battle wounds. It's so much fun! And they'll go away in like five years. The cool thing is I got to do some stunts and that never happens. I feel so cool about it," continued Woodley.
Apart from having a few battle scars off the set, Woodley also suffered from a few hernias.
"It was partly my fault from the amount of stress," stated Woodley.
Hilariously, "Divergent" and "The Fault in Our Stars" aren't the only films Woodley has been involved with. Thanks to the "Fifty Shades" talk with Shailene being in the potential list of actresses, some fans think Woodley is set to actually star in the film. This of course would be far from possible given Woodley is busy with a "Hunger Games" like film franchise.
"Every time I talk to somebody, they're like, 'Oh, what's going on with Fifty Shades? And I'm like, 'What are you talking about? I know nothing about it.' But yeah, after doing Divergent and being a part of that franchise, I couldn't imagine doing another one right now," explained Woodley.
