Doctor Who Christmas Special Episode ‘Time Of the Doctor’ Spoilers: New Videos And Photos Reveal Who Clara is?

After the exhilarating Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special Episode, the excitement for the festive BBC Christmas season's special episode has increased. It has been a much anticipated episode of the timeless classic show before the year ends. It is not only Matt Smith's finale segment but also Peter Capaldi's regeneration is in store as he replaces Smith and takes over as the next generation doctor.

Special Episode 'Time of the Doctor': Who is Clara? (Spoilers)

According to reports, the episode, "The Time of the Doctor," will be featuring many entertaining elements. The episode that is set on the deadly planet of Trenzalore will witness a 300-year war. The war will be against brutal villains like Weeping Angels, Daleks, Sontarans and Cybermen.

But the most interesting part of the much awaited episode is regeneration of Peter Capaldi as next-generation doctor. What has aroused the fans' curiosity in Matt Smith's finale is the presence of a girl called Clara. Who is she?

BBC has recently released a new trailer for all its Christmas special shows and episodes that will be aired during Christmas season. If you look closely, the trailer has an answer to that very question.

In the trailer, one can see Clara making an announcement to her family who seemed to be enjoying the Christmas time together. She introduces the doctor as her boyfriend to her family and the doctor spanks Clara's butts. Watch the clip below to find out.

Also five new photos of the episode have been released featuring Matt Smith as 13th doctor and Jenna Coleman as Clara, doctor's companion.

The photos hinted what to expect in the Christmas Day special episode. The photos show Matt and Clara traversing through roads covered in snow. Also, one of the photos showed the doctor in Tardis, holding the head of a Cyberman while speaking on the phone.
