“Doctor Who” star Matt Smith and his ex-girlfriend Daisy Lowe are reportedly the latest victim of the nude celebrity photo leaks called The Fappening.

The 31-year-old actor, who famously played the 11th Doctor in the British sci-fi series from 2010 to 2013, and the 25-year-old model’s nude selfies are making the rounds online.

The photos, believed to be around 20 in all, show the giggling couple playfully posing naked in various poses in front of a mirror together. Some of the stolen images also feature Lowe wrapped with a rope in a bondage-type scene.

Neither Smith nor Lowe has verified or denied the authenticity of the photos yet, although Lowe appeared to have confirmed the images when she replied to a fan on Twitter.

It’s unclear whose account was hacked as the images show both had been taking pictures with their phones. Some have speculated, though, that the images were from Smith’s iCloud account.

The now ex-couple dated on-off for three years until they split for good in 2013. Smith is now dating “Downton Abbey” star Lily James, while Lowe is still reportedly single.

Smith is one of the very few known male celebrity victims of the nude photo leak distastefully called The Fappening. The fourth batch includes alleged nude selfies of Nick Hogan, son of wrestler Hulk Hogan. Kate Upton’s boyfriend, professional baseball player Justin Verlander, was also victimised by the hackers.

Jennifer Lawrence, whose stolen nude shots have been the main lure of the leaks, has finally spoken up about the issue, calling it not a scandal, but a “sex crime.”

“It’s a sexual violation. It’s disgusting. The law needs to be changed, and we need to change. That’s why these Web sites are responsible. Just the fact that somebody can be exploited and violated, and the first thought that crosses somebody’s mind is to make a profit from it. It’s so beyond me. I can’t imagine being that thoughtless and careless and so empty inside,” she told Vanity Fair.

After her interview was published online, her Wikipedia page has been hacked to show two of her nude images. The page was restored to its original photo after 20 minutes.
