With less than ten days left for the premiere of the season 8 of BBC One show "Doctor Who," the excitement is building around the new doctor Peter Capaldi and his blue Tardis. Capaldi has also revealed a bit of information about his Tardis, a time travelling space ship used by the Time Lord (Capaldi in this case), to explore the universe and solve its problems. After a few episodes of the upcoming season were reportedly leaked on the Internet, BBC has released the official trailer of its first episode titled "Deep Breath." See video below.

The trailer focuses on how the new doctor is ready for adventures involving dinosaurs in the Victorian London. The channel first released a snippet of the season 8 in July which showed Peter questioning himself about being a "good man." The trailer was successful in setting up a mysterious tone for the upcoming season. But the latest official trailer goes a step further and reveals the plot to some extent.

BBC is also calling the latest trailer as a "secret" and encouraged the show's fans to share it on Twitter.

"When the Doctor arrives in Victorian London, he finds a dinosaur rampant in the Thames and a spate of deadly spontaneous combustions. Who is the new Doctor and will Clara's friendship survive as they embark on a terrifying mission into the heart of an alien conspiracy? The Doctor has changed. It's time you knew him," says the latest synopsis of Season 8.

Peter Capaldi also revealed how he was scared of getting into his Tardis for the first time and found it quite small and cold from inside. "The very first thing I had to do was to get into that Tardis, and I'm thinking, 'oh my god, this is the actual Tardis,' except of course it's not bigger on the inside; it's actually smaller,'' revealed Capaldi to smh.com.

Capladi also joked about how "chilly" it gets inside the Tardis and how it would be a good idea to light some "electric fire, kettle and have some beverages" inside it to make it warmer. The latest trailer also shows Clara (Jenna Coleman) disapproving the new Tradis.

Capladi and his team are on a global tour to promote the show before it kicks off in United Stated and United Kingdom on Aug 23. The "Doctor Who" team plans to promote their show in seven cities across five continents in 12 days. Their promotional tour started in Cardiff on Aug. 7 before heading to London, Seoul and Sydney. The doctor and his team will then make a next stop in New York, Mexico City and then Rio de Janeiro on Aug 19.
