"Dominion" is a TV series based on the "Legion" film which was shown in 2010 starring Paul Bettany (Michael), Dennis Quaid (Bob Hanson), Tyrese Gibson (Kyle Williams) from "Fast & Furious 7," Willa Holland (Audrey Anderson) of "Arrow," Kevin Durand (Gabriel), Kate Walsh of "Grey's Anatomy" and "Private Practice," Lucas Black (Jeep Hanson) and Adrianne Palicki (Charlie). "Dominion" was created by Vaun Wilmott, and its plot happens 25 years after "Legion." Charlie was pregnant in "Legion" and "Dominion" shows her son Alex (Christopher Egan) all grown up. Alex is considered as the "The Chosen One" to save mankind from the war between them and the angels. In "Dominion," there is still an ongoing war between humans and angels, but now, there are cities built for the protection of the surviving humans. Sgt. Alex Lannon finds out about his role in this war and struggles with the revelation that he is "The Chosen One" who will save humanity.

In the episode "Broken Places" (Season 1, Episode 3), which aired on July 3, 2014, Alex doesn't want to be "The Chosen One" so he tries to flee from Vega. However, he meets Gabriel's (Carl Beukes) minions along the way. He is left with no other choice but to fight for his life. Luckily, Michael (Tom Wisdom) aided him. Meanwhile, General Edward Riesen (Alan Dale) crosses the line while performing his duties, in the hope of providing more security for humans.

"Dominion" Season 1, Episode 3 "Broken Places was directed by Rick Jacobson and written by Damien Ober and Dario Scardapane. Other members of the cast who appeared in this episode include Roxanne McKee (Claire Riesen), Luke Allen-Gale (William Whele), Shivani Ghai (Arika), Rosalind Halstead (Senator Becca Thorn ), Anthony Head (David Whele ), Kim Engelbrecht (Sgt. Noma Walker ), Anton David Jeftha, Amy Bailey (Clementine) and Jonathan Howard (Ethan).
