Don Hany stars in Ten's 'Offspring'
Actor Don Hany is set to be the newest heartthrob in the Australian television as he plays doctor in Channel Ten's newest show. Hany co-stars with Kat Steward and Asher Keddie in Offspring.
The Australian actor portrays Chris Chavel desired by the leading lady Nina Proudman. Proudman is played by Asher Keddie. In the series, Hany is a pedetrician that Keddie's character lust for. He could be the next sex symbol when the new series premieres on Sunday evening with Proudman slipping into sexual fantasies about him even during the day.
Proudman is Australia's Bridget Jones minus the obsesive calorie countring and smoking. She is a doctor who is socially crippled by her crush on Chavel and has to deal with the consequence of his dad's dodgy behavior in his time.
Hany jokingly says that it was no surprise for him to secure the spot as he admits that he is a very good looking man. The actor believes he seems so sexy in the new show only because the audience views him through Proudman's eyes.
"I am really fortunate because Asher's portrayal of Nina is so convincing that most audience members have no option but to give in to her obsession with Chris."
