‘Dougie’ rapper killed in drive-by shooting

Rapper M-Bone from Cali Swag District has been killed in a drive-by shooting over the weekend.
Preliminary police reports show that M-Bone, whose real name is Mante Ray Talbert, was sitting inside his car parked outside a liquor store in Los Angeles when another car pulled in near his and started shooting around 10:30 p.m.
"Another car pulled alongside, gunshots were fired, and the victim was struck twice in the head," Lieutenant James Madia said, according to the Associated Press.
The police official added that the man in M-Bone’s passenger seat not injured. Talbert was rushed to the nearby hospital but was declared dead upon arrival.

Meanwhile, the publicist for Cali Swag District, the rap group hitmaker of ‘Teach Me How to Dougie” said in a statement that M-Bone was a “victim of a random act of violence”.
"He was a hardworking, passionate artist and dancer that will be deeply missed," Miller was quoted as saying by the Associated Press.
In an interview with KABC-TV, M-Bone’s bandmate, C-Smoove, who was crying during the interview described the slain rapper as the ‘life of the group’ adding: "He made us laugh, he was the energy."
