One of the stars of BBC's hit show "Dr. Who" was found completely naked and intoxicated on a trendy New York hotel corridor earlier yesterday.

Karen Gillian, who's famous for portraying Amy Pond in the British series Dr. Who, has been found without her clothes and reeking of alcohol in New York's The Ace hotel. The star apparently got "too drunk" after a night-long party held by the show's cast and crew in the NY hotel during a trip organized by the BBC. The 23-year-old Scottish actress was found in an inebriated state by a permanent resident of the hotel after he heard someone trying to get inside his room.

"I went to the peephole and looked out. I saw a man at the lift who was looking back at someone who was attempting to open my door" says the resident in a report posted at News.com.au. The resident continued "next thing I saw was a woman giving this person at my door two towels before getting into the lift and leaving". Because Dr. Who is a worldwide hit, the "drunk and naked" woman was identified by the resident as Amy Pond from the show. The resident carries on with his story by describing the "whimpering" the actress while trying to cover her exposed body with the towels. After unsuccessful attempts to carry herself, the actress laid on the floor with the towels covering her private parts.

The resident then says security arrived at around 7 am yesterday morning, escorting the actress back to her suite while covered in blankets. Another resident of The Ace said "This girl looked as though she hadn't been to bed. Everyone who saw her thought she was completely zonked out" in the same report, with some even calling her "Lady Godiva".

A spokesperson working for BBC Worldwide denied giving any comment more than a statement saying "We're unaware of this alleged incident".
