Science over spirituality seems to be the overriding differentiator of "Dracula" 2013 TV show. With a focus of the beasts' aversion to sunlight as a symptom, this could be cured by science.

Van Helsing is seen to be working on a cure for almost a decade and Alexander Grayson is interested to buying a company which is controlled by the Order of Dragon, while he still has to perfect his new technology to generate electricity.

Spirituality seems to have taken a back seat, the vampire hunting Order of Dragon is looking out for its business interests and power. "Dracula" is seen trying to save the world from dependence of oil.

However there is a lot of bloodshedding as "Dracula" is still the beast that feeds on the blood of young women. Jonathan Rhys Meyers has to manage a difficult balance as he plays the seductive, charming and rich Alexander Grayson and blood-sucking beast.

He has already charmed his way into the bed of Lady Jayne, who is a vampire hunter for the Order of Dragon. "Dracula" seems to have finally learnt this secret and may now use this information to make further inroads into the secret organization.

He may have succeeded in intimidating Lord Laurent, a leading member of the order. He has discovered that Lord Laurent is gay and confronted him in a private club for gays. Will Lord Laurent suffer the humiliation? Or will this revelation drive him to suicide in Episode 3?

The journalist Jonathan Harker has been offered a very lucrative job by Alexander Grayson to get closer to his fiancée. Their relationship seems to be in trouble after Harker dislike of his fiancé's medical profession becomes clear to her.

Harker's fiancée, Mina, and her friend Lucy are expected to go on a tour of London as they drink to their heart's content to forget the pain caused by Harker in Episode 3. Is this the right time for Grayson to romance the heart broken Mina?

"Dracula" Episode 3 will take viewers back to the time when Order of Dragon committed atrocities against him. It could explain why he came to be the way he is. Click here to read the review and spoilers from the premiere of the show.
