‘Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’ update, DLC Super Pack 2 & Nintendo Switch possibility: Know what Bandai Namco has in store
A new “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” update is on the way along with the DLC Pack 2. The release dates have been confirmed and details about what in store for players have been revealed. Bandai Namco will be releasing the update for free on Feb. 27 and it will be made available for download in Europe via PS4, Xbox One and PC. The update will reportedly include five new attacks, two new expert missions, Broly and Janemba, Android 15 metal cooler suit and clothes, Zangya and Bido new costumes, Tenkaichi tournament rules, character and group Tenkaichi and Tenkaichi Tournament jersey.
According to PlayStation Universe, for Character Tenkaichi, players will have to fight the same character, such as, Pan Tenkaichi, Yamcha Tenkaichi and Goku Tenkaichi. For Group Tenkaichi, players can only choose GT characters. Moreover, players will also be able to get their hands on the “Dragon Ball Xenoverse” DLC Super Pack 2, that will feature Emotes and Super Souls, new vehicle Saiyan Space Pod, three new costumes, eight new attacks, U6 vs U7 Tournament Stage, two new playable characters, Champa and Vados and New Universe 6 Saga Story Chapter.
The updates were confirmed by Bandai Namco on Steam. Those who are not aware, Bandai Namco is also planning to bring “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” on Nintendo Switch under a working title. The developer is also said to be implementing co-op gameplay. This will allow players to share their “Dragon Ball Xenoverse” experience with friends. Switch launch date hansn’t been announced yet. There are also rumours that Conton City will be expanded that will allow players to travel and explore by flying or driving a hover car.
Due to the vast area of the Conton City, revamping communication options is also a possibility. Certain playable characters coming to “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” are Super Saiyan Rose Black Goku, Super Saiyan Blue Vegito and Zamasu. Moreover, it is also believed that “Dragon Ball Super’s” new arc, Universal Survival, will also feature in this year’s “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” DLC. Earlier reports had also stated that Bandai Namco will bring in lot of content from “Dragon Ball Super” to “Xenoverse 2.”
Community suggestions can also play a big role in future as the developer will consider them for future content. Champa is the God of Destruction from Universe 6 whereas Vados serves as his martial arts teacher and attendant. The notorious villain Zamasu may also be introduced to “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.”
