'Drake, Chris Brown Feud': Canadian Rapper Trashes Brown, Says Rihanna Fell Into His Lap
It appears the feud between Drake and Chris Brown is far from over.
On Elliot Wilson's Keep It Thoro radio show, the Canadian rapper blatantly disses his R&B rival, calling him insecure and claiming his on-and-off beau Rihanna fell into his lap.
"At one point in life, the woman that he loves fell into my lap. I did what a real n***a would do and treated her with respect. She's not up there talking down on me," Drake said.
He stated further, "Don't ask me (expletive) about that man when I come up there. Leave that man alone. Stop preying on his insecurities. His insecurities are the fact that I make better music than him. I'm more poppin' than him."
To top it off, the rapper also bashed Brown's rapping abilities on air.
"I don't want to hear that man rap. Nobody wants to hear me rap against him. I really do this. Let him put out that, whatever, 'Project X' or whatever he's working on and I'm going to put out that real s**t for the people. Nothing good can come out of that situation," he said.
That must have hurt. But we're quite surprised at Brown's reaction towards the interview. The 23-year-old singer simply took to Twitter to respond to Drake's attacks, putting out a short tweet that simply read, "Lol."
It was only last June that the rivals got into a heated altercation at the W.I.P. nightclub in New York, where the pair publicly got caught up in a fight involving their entourage. The brawl left a number of people injured, including the former husband of Eva Longoria, Tony Parker.
Drake briefly dated Riri during her split with Brown, and reports say that the Bajan songstress has been the centre of the club brawl.
But despite his tough talk in his radio show appearance, Drake did leave open the possibility for a reconciliation with Brown.
"We have an issue," he said, "and it's either gonna drag out or maybe in ten years we'll laugh about it over drinks. Just let us solve that (expletive)."
