Drew Barrymore Does it Again! Expecting Second Child With Will Kopelman
Only thirteen months after giving birth to her first child, actress Drew Barrymore is pregnant again with her second child. "The Big Miracle" star and her husband Will Kopelman are expecting a sibling for their daughter Olive, who is only 13-months-old. Rumours started floating about Barrymore's pregnancy after she was spotted with a tiny baby bump at the LACMA Art+FIlm Gala recently. The gorgeous actress was wearing a flowing floral printed dress, which failed to conceal her growing baby bump.
A representative for Drew confirmed the happy news to various representatives. There is no word on when is the due date of the 38-year-old new mommy. The dimpled actress tied the knot with her husband in 2012 and gave birth to her daughter on September 2012.
Probably the actress is seeing her biological clock ticking so she is not waiting for anytime longer to expand her brood. The actress expressed the desire to have a second child when she appeared on the Jay Leno show.
"I grew up as an only child, and although that really works for some people and for some parents that's the way they want to do it ... I want to be the Griswolds," Bayymore said talking about the actor Chevy Chase's family from the "National Lampoon's Vacation" films.
"I want the kids in the back rolling their eyes at Mom and Dad. I want Rusty and Audrey, theme parks and the whole nine," the actress revealed.
"Some people love it and thrive on the independence, but I want my kids to have other kids around. Maybe two kids so they can run around life together," the actress told another magazine.
Barrymore has taken a sabbatical from work and has not appeared in any movies since the 2012's "Big Miracle." She has also lent her voice to the animated series "Family Guy" and is a full time mommy now.
The actress however says she feels a little nervous when it comes to raising kids and her anxiety levels were so high when her first one was born that she could not eat or sleep peacefully for quite some time.
"I couldn't eat or sleep for two weeks, I was just so nervous! You have the highest highs and yet you're facing the biggest fear of, "How do I keep someone alive?"" she told People last year.
Wishing all the best to the gorgeous Barrymore for her second pregnancy.
