Drones are controversial because they had been used for military attacks that somewhat invaded human rights and made it to the headlines.

However, a new social networking site aimed to give drones a friendlier perspective was already in its beta launch.

The site is called Dronestagram and can be found at Dronestagr.am. According to the report from Fox News, the site wanted to collect a database of images and "build a world map of Earth with a bird's eye view."

Take note that the drone owners who are posting on the site were not militaries, rather, individuals who owned drones commercially.

Those who do not own drones, for obvious reasons, but are fascinated with magnificent aerial shots of different beautiful views were surely be captivated by what they can see from the Dronestagram.

Dronestagr.am is owned and edited by Bllobox.net. The site's CEO and founder is Eric Dupin.

For those drone owners who will upload photos as well as those who would just like to be active viewers, photos can be uploaded or viewed to different categories namely, Amateur, Ceremonies, Cityscape, Countryscape, Industrial, Others and Crazy Stuff, Pro, Shows & Scenery and Sports.

However, minors might be off limits to the site.

According the Web site's description, "Dronestagram allows for uploading, sharing and general viewing various types of content allowing registered and unregistered users to share and view depictions of adult content, including sexually explicit images."

Also, "Dronestagram assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, practices of any and all third party websites. Dronestagram cannot censor or edit the content of third party sites."

And since the site was only in its beta launched, signing and registering might be free temporarily but the site might charge a fee in the future, "Dronestagram reserves the right to charge for services and to change its fees from time to time in its discretion."

If however, the site deemed that you were using the site for other purposes that it allows, "Dronstagram terminates your rights to use the website because of a breach... you shall not be entitled to the refund of any unused portion of subscription fees."
