Fans of popular series Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson have demanded apology from the network for suspending the star from the show for his anti-gay remarks. Apparently, the supporters of Robertson have forwarded a petition to the network requesting them to bring back the show's patriarch.

The fans also want the network to say "Sorry" for suspending their favorite star from the show.

Brian Brown, the president for National Organization for Marriage has drafted an apology and it reads: "The gay lobby bullies are at it again. This time they've attacked one of the most popular Christians in America-Phil Robertson, patriarch of Duck Dynasty's Robertson family. They are calling him 'vile' and say he is pushing 'extreme stereotypes' and 'lies.' The grossly misnamed Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and their Hollywood ally GLAAD have demanded that Phil be punished and, incredibly, Wednesday night A&E succumbed to the gay bullies and suspended Phil Robertson!"

The suspension of Robertson came after Phil spoke openly about his anti gay views to the GQ magazine.

"It seems like, to me, a vagina-as a man-would be more desirable than a man's anus. That's just me. I'm just thinking: There's more there! She's got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I'm saying? But hey, sin: It's not logical, my man. It's just not logical," said Robertson.

"Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men," added the star further.

Reportedly these comments have angered the anti- gay communities. It was due to the pressure of these communities that the production house had to suspend the key character for the show. The gay supporters think that "Duck Dynasty" star has gone way ahead with his views about gays and they are infuriated by the fact that he called act of sleeping with the same sex member, a sin.
