Orlando’s NBA star Dwight Howard has reached an NBA scoring milestone in Magic win last Sunday.

But according to the Agence France Presse, the Orlando star player appeared to be more excited winning at a game held in Arizona against Suns at 111-88.

"We hadn't won here since I have been in the NBA, so that was our whole focus," Howard said, according to the AFP, “to get a good win”.

Magic noted AFP has had a long history of losing against the Suns I Arizona since November 2001, adding that Howard was just 15 years old.

Howard reached 10,000 points for his career in Sunday’s game against Suns, marked with a hook shot over Robin Lopez at the third quarter of the game.

But the NBA star claimed the points don’t mean much to him.

“I never look at the points” Howard said adding, “Rebounds and blocks are what win games for me”.

Magic coach, Stan Van Gundy, admitted however that the Suns were a ‘totally different team’ in the absence of great point guard Steve Nash.

AFP said that Nash missed Sunday’s game due to what the team called, “pelvic instability”.

Nash was replaced by Aaron Brooks and recorded 19 points and 10 assists. But Van Gundy insisted, the team’s magic is different without the veteran player, Nash.

"Aaron Brooks was great today. He scored a lot but Steve Nash sets everybody else up, gets everybody else playing," Van Gundy said, according to AFP.

He added, "We have been fortunate we have played them twice without Steve Nash and it is a whole different ball game."
