Zimmerman's acquittal in the Trayvon Marin case had sparked resentment and outrage and renewed the race debate. Some of those who took the time out to express their disappointment with the justice system were famous sports stars, Dwayne Wade and Lebron James of Miami Heats.

While the heated feelings have abated somewhat, the race debate rages and the fire still simmers on. Stoking the fire again today is Dwyane's controversial cover photo for Ebony magazine, with his sons sporting hoodies, akin to what Trayvon Martin was wearing when he encountered Zimmerman.

The September issue of Ebony Magazine is set to honor Trayvon Marin, not necessarily to stir and feed the fire of race issues, but to keep the debate alive and remembered. The cover shows Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade and his two sons, Zaire and Zion. All of them are in hoodies, but the two boys have their hoods up.

The topics previewed on the cover includes the topics of gun violence and five ways to stop it, how to repeal stand, a prayer for healing and the movement to change America. In bold, red letters are the words "WE ARE TRAYVON".

Wade also expressed his personal feelings on the cover through Instagram. "It was a pleasure to stand with my 2boys on this issue for Trayvon Martin. #Wearetrayvon #standforwhatyoubelievein" Wade tweeted.

Dwyane Wade's cover is only one of the four covers for the September issue of Ebony magazine. The other covers feature Martin's family, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin with their son Jahvaris Fulton; movie director Spike Lee and his son Jackson; as well as actor Boris Kodjoe and his son Nicolas. .
