The highly anticipated Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2014 takes place for the first time in the British capital, and it is indeed quite a show. British singer Ed Sheeran is right at the thick of the sexiest party ever.

Top models donning gold wings and luxurious diamond-encrusted bras strutted the London catwalk on Tuesday, Dec. 2. British singer Ed Sheeran, one of the singers invited to take part on the show apart from Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande, offered a great performance. Before the show begins, he was also captured cuddling up with some of the winged Angels.

Ed Sheeran took to the stage to perform his hit "Thinking Out Loud" as the Angels strutted in the Victoria's Secret lingerie sets inspired by exotic destinations. Backstage at the Victoria's Secret show, Ed Sheeran was also able to live the dream of most guys and cosied up with the gorgeous models. He was able to pose for an Instagram photo with the Angels as well. The "X" singer looked really happy in the picture, along with his close friend Taylor Swift. One of Taylor's best friends and Victoria's Secret prized models, Karlie Kloss, who is also one of the eight elite Angels for the show, posted a picture of Ed at the centre of a group picture from backstage, which included other models: Lily Aldrigde and Alessandra Ambrosio. Kloss even jokingly said Ed is popular among the ladies.

At the end of the show, Ed and his co-performers Ariana Grande and Taylor danced with the Angels. The singer reportedly had the time of his life in what could be considered the sexiest party that ever happened.

Ed Sheeran did some preparations of his own for this show. While the Angels strive to look their best the next day, Ed was also dieting the night before he took the stage. Ed revealed his VS diet, tweeting the night before, "Doing the Victoria Secret's fashion show tonight and I'm eating a Greggs sausage roll in the dressing room."

The event is considered Victoria's Secret's most expensive ever. The company reportedly spent $20 million (16 million euros) for the show to happen and featured some of the world's best-paid models such as Brazil's Adriana Lima. This is the second time that the show has been held outside the United States since 1995. "The show is seen in 192 countries, the show is seen by 500 million people," marketing director Ed Razek shared. He added that it's unique in the industry.
