Who could portray the role of a play boy better than LeAnn Rimes’s beau, television hunk actor, Eddie Cibrian? Eddie Cibrian is replacing newcomer Jeff Hephner on NBC’s pilot episode of "Playboy", according to TV Guide.
Cibrian plays the Chicago attorney, Nick Dalton, a key-holder at the Playboy club with connections to organized crime. The pilot is produced by Twentieth Century Fox TV and Imagine TV. It is written by Chad Hodge who has also penned episodes for "Tru Calling".
The storyline centers on a group of women working as Playboy bunnies at the Chicago club. The show is an attempt to explore America's sexual revolution.
LeAnn's husband-to-be is joined by Amber Heard, Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Naturi Naughton, who said TV Guide were cast as ‘Playboy bunnies’. The role of the club’s manager is portrayed by David Krumholtz.
The lead role for "Playboy" was first offered to Jeff Hephner but as first reported by Deadline.com, the producers decided to recast after the first table was read.
