Move over YouTube, "EllenTube" is here. With the name, one would know that it is the brainchild of Ellen Degeneres and her team.

Considering how many talented kids and individuals became household name through Ellen Degeneres' recognition of videos showing what they can do, it makes sense for Ellen to launch her own video sharing site, "EllenTube." It is not designed for people wanting to Ellen recognise them of course, the main purpose is to have fun and interesting videos for everyone daily, but talented individuals can certainly rejoice with this new platform to show what they are capable of.

Cannot get enough of Ellen and her funny antics? Fans who watches her on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and then look for more of her online content on YouTube would certainly be excited to know that there is now an option to get more of Ellen of "EllenTube." Instead of establishing her own network, like Oprah did, the comedienne would rather have an expanded online presence. The new video sharing site is created by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show's" executive producers Mary Connelly, Ed Glavin and Andy Lassner.

Ellen's camp would not be the only one who could upload videos. Like YouTube, fans of the funny talk show host can also upload their videos, whether they are funny, interesting, unique or touching. The difference here is that Ellen's team would first review the content before posting the videos on the site. Best user videos would have the chance to be shown on the long-time award-winning, daytime talk show.

The comedienne also put a word in on the new site. "It's a place that you can find videos that are hilarious and interesting. We're going to post things from the show that you won't see anywhere else," DeGeneres said. "And what makes our site different than any other place is that if you accidentally type in a wrong word, you're not going to stumble upon something that's bad or mean or something like that. You know how that can happen. So everything on the site is fun, and there is nothing mean-spirited."

USA Today reports that the site would also be Ellen's personal method of addressing rumors, especially that of her and wife Portia de Rossi. She shared that she would put an interview of her and Portia on the site, as well as selfies. "If there's ridiculous rumors out there about Portia being pregnant or us breaking up, and I have a funny monologue about it, I'm going to address it," she explained.
