Ellen DeGeneres, Portia Leave Australia, Promised to Make Australia Future Home [PHOTOS]
TV Host Ellen DeGeneres Left Australia with Wife Portia with a Promise to Make Down Under their Home in the Future.
Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossie have left Australia after their two short day visit, with a promise that they will make Down Under their future home. Before jetting back to the States, the popular TV host had declared her love, once again, for her wife of more than four years.
It was short but sweet. Ellen was taken aback of the love Australians have shown love for her and beautiful wife, Portia, a native of Geelong, Australia. Admitting that she got emotional during their time in Australia, Portia expressed gratitude for the warm welcome bestowed to her and Ellen.
"It has been amazing to have her (Ellen) here,'' Portia was quoted as saying by The Australian. "It just means so much for me to have her here.''
The couple had been to many places during their two-day trip in Australia. They visited Birrarung Marr in Melbourne, a place previously devastated bly floods. The couple also reportedly skipped Rabbitohs games to have some relaxing time at the Manly beach. She and Portia was also on a live show in Sydney. She was at the Opera on the Harbour Saturday morning. She expressed love for the Melbourne airport.
Those two-days were far too short than Ellen and Portia could have spent Down Under. But the TV host had to go back to Los Angeles for more engagements.
Before they head back to the states, Ellen declared her love for wife of four years in front of thousands of Aussies screaming for both of them.
"She is the most kindest, the most compassionate, the most brilliant, most beautiful human being I have ever met in my entire life," Ellen declared, according to Perth Now, before adding, "She makes me happier then I've ever been."
The couple promised that they will go back to Australia for an extended visit. If not for good, in the future to make Melbourne their home.
"I shouldn't put it out there, but I can see us living here one day," Ellen said, according to theaustralian.com.au. "Not for a while as I've got shows to do, but I can see it happening.
Ellen concluded: "This is the most incredible trip, I will never forget it."
