Ellen DeGeneres scares 'Scream Queens' cast member Lea Michele 'Halloween' style on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’
Host Ellen DeGeneres has once again succeeded in scaring a celebrity guest on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” Lea Michele, 20, recently appeared on the talk-variety show to talk about starring in Fox’s new horror-comedy TV series titled “Scream Queens” and her co-stars as well as scary movies.
HuffPost TV reports Michele appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Tuesday where the former “Glee” star has perfected her horror scream. Michele has revealed during the interview that she dreams of getting “Scream Queens” co-star Jamie Lee Curtis, who portrays Dean Cathy Munsch at the Wallace University, to watch the 1978 slasher film “Halloween” with her.
“The Ellen DeGeneres Show” has published on YouTube the video of Lea Michele’s interview on Tuesday. “Ellen got the "Scream Queens" star to, well, scream!” the description to the video interview reads.
In the video, Michele was unaware that DeGeneres has used the film’s theme to scare her on the show. A male staff of DeGeneres, who wore a Michael Myers mask, jumped out of the coffee table next to Michele after hearing DeGeneres’ cue which was “I love scary movies!”
Michele told DeGeneres after the “Halloween” scare that she is not coming back to her show again. Then, DeGeneres pointed out that Michele has kept things together despite getting scared.
DeGeneres further added that she was just getting Michele ready for how watching “Halloween” will be like with Jamie Lee Curtis. During the interview, Michele also talked about filming “Scream Queens” in New Orleans and working with co-star Emma Roberts, who portrays Kappa Kappa Tau sorority president Chanel Oberlin in series creator Ryan Murphy’s new show that has brought back the horror-comedy genre.
“Scream Queens” will focus on the sorority that Chanel Oberlin leads. Dean Cathy Munsch will threaten the Kappa Kappa Tau sorority which leads to the events reigniting a murder mystery that happened 20 years ago involving a serial killer called the Red Devil.
Aside from starring in “Scream Queens,” Michele will be busy promoting her new book titled “You First: Journal Your Way to Your Best Life.” InStyle reports that Michele created the journal to teach people how to be the best version of their self.
Michele’s new journal also addresses on a number of topics such as fitness, diet, work, school and relationships. Meanwhile, the fans can watch Lea Michele as Kappa Kappa Tau pledge Hester “Neckbrace” Ulrich in “Scream Queens,” which also stars Abigail Breslin, Oliver Hudson, Skyler Samuels, Keke Palmer and Glen Powell, on Tuesday nights at 8/7c on Fox.
