Ellen DeGeneres recently shared a funny video to her audience on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” The shared viral video is a funny mash-up on the upcoming Disney film “Cinderella” and “Fifty Shades of Grey” following the success of the film based on E.L. James’ erotic romance novel.

The funny video got shared on YouTube last Thursday, Feb. 19, with over 600,000 views at the moment. “Ellen couldn't believe the update to this classic,” the video description reads.

In the video, TV host Ellen DeGeneres asks the audience if they have seen the film “Fifty Shades of Grey.” Then, the 57-year-old TV host and comedienne told the audience that Disney is trying to get the most out of the success of “Fifty Shades of Grey.”

Ellen DeGeneres shared to the audience that “Fifty Shades of Grey” is currently the number one film in the United States so the other studios are trying to cash in. The TV host explained that if there is something popular out there, like a film, people try to make a different version out of it.

“Look at what Disney is doing. It’s a classic Disney movie and this is what they’re doing,” the TV host added before showing the funny video clip.The funny video begins with “Cinderella” cast members Lily James and “Game of Thrones” star Richard Madden dancing at a ball as Disney princess Cinderella and Prince Charming with the Beyonce song “Crazy in Love” playing as the background music.

Then, the characters of the upcoming Disney films take on the roles of Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) and Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) in the “Fifty Shades of Grey” film. The next scenes in the funny video showed Cinderella and Prince Charming entering the famous “Red Room of Pain,” Cinderella’s head edited over Anastasia’s body tied to a bed, fireworks and the signature glass slippers from the Cinderella story.

“That’s not right,” DeGeneres stated. The TV host joked that she only remembers Cinderella as an innocent story about a prince who has a foot fetish.

The Disney reboot film “Cinderella,” which also stars Cate Blanchett as the evil stepmother and Helena Bonham Carter as the fairy godmother, is scheduled to be released in the U.S. theaters on March 13, 2015.
