Elton John's huge Oscar after party turned into a dress-off between some of today's hottest female celebrities. Who came and who wore the best dress?

Each year during the awards season, Sir Elton Jon throws a massive gala/ afterparty for those who attended the Oscar awards. This year, the star-studded attendance made it the biggest Oscar afterparty of 2012, with huge names posing for the cameras in their best party/ glam wear.

Blue-haired singer, Katy Perry, arrived in a sparkling silver number with bold, animal prints to accompany her radical mane. Musician and designer, Gwen Stefani, posed in her signature punk rock-glam style, in red lips nonetheless. Marissa Miller and Vanessa Hudgens arrived in equally-shiny numbers that stood out among the neutral-toned majority of the stars' dresses, while Kelly Osbourne provided a dash of sunshine in her yellow, tapered gown.

Reality TV star, Kim Kardashian, continued her style of dressing dark for awards and after-parties with a black body-hugging dress that showed-off her curves and flawless figure. Model and TV presenter, Karina Kurkova went all high fashion with a sheer jumpsuit that all ladies would dream of wearing. Her sister, Kourtney, wore a white seamless gown with a silver neckline that didn't show a trace of her baby bump at all.
