Eminem may not be the richest rapper in Forbes list, but he is back to the top spot on U.S. pop album chart. His return came after being sideline by No.1 debuts from rock bands Avenged Sevenfild and Arcade Fire for the past two week.

His album 'Recovery' sold 133, 000 copies during the week end, according to Nielsen Soundscan. After eight weeks, the rapper's latest album had sold 2.1 million. It has also sold at least 100,000 copies each week of its entire chart life. Andrea Bocelli's "My Christmas" was the last album to sell 100,000 or more copies during each of its first eight weeks in November and December 2009.

In the Forbes' list of 20 Richest Rappers, Eminem is down at number 14 earning $8 million this year mainly because he was reluctant to diversify, unlike other rappers on top of the list. 'It's pretty shocking to see him so low down on the list,' said Greenburg. 'Compared to his peers, he doesn't really do much outside of music.'
