Eminem has declared himself a "Rap God" with his latest track by the same name. The song has been dubbed as rapper's best ever attempt at rap and has catapulted Eminem to the envious position of best rap artist ever. However, "Rap God" is now considered to be anti-gay and critics have called its lyrics incredibly "homophobic."The gays and lesbian community have taken offence to it.

If you hear the six-minute long track, it has been filled with anti-gay verses where the rap artist has called gays them "fags" and condemned them as "So gay I can barely say it with a straight face looking boy."

"I'll still be able to break a motherfuckin' table / Over the back of a couple of faggots and crack it in half," Eminem sings in the first verse.

According to one user on social media hausofaidan, the language used in the lyrics is offensive and he cannot understand why everyone is praises for it.

"It's sickening that he is using this kind of language in a song (that's currently #1 on iTunes) and no one is criticising the song- in fact he's getting praise for it and reviewers are choosing to ignore it," writes Huasofaidan on Tumblr.

Also in another verse Eminem goes:

"You fags think it's all a game/

'til I walk a flock of flames....

Little gay looking boy / So gay I can barely say it with a straight face looking boy

You witnessing massacre like you watching a church gathering taking place-looking boy / 'Oy vey, that boy's gay,' that's all they say looking-boy / You take a thumbs up, pat on the back, the way you go from your label every day-looking boy."

Scot Meslow from The Week has called the song "Rap God" as "incredibly homophobic" and expressed his surprise as many websites praising it.

"More disheartening has been the way that so many websites have praised Eminem's rapping on "Rap God" while ignoring the song's problematic lyrics entirely," Meslow writes in his column.

"Don't download Eminem's new single, and don't buy his new album. We've heard this all before and there's no reason any of us should be subjected to it again," he adds.

Do you think the lyrics to Eminem's "Rap God" are ant-gay or homophobic?
