M-Phazes is joining Eminem’s Rapture touring festival. The Australian hip-hop producer has been added to the line-up at the highly anticipated rap music event, which is set to kick off in Auckland on February 15.

“It was an awesome experience to support Eminem on his last Australian tour so to be invited back again and be joining such an incredible line-up of artists is a real honour,” the Melbourne-based producer said.

The DJ, real name Mark Landon, has worked with Eminem before. He produced a track for the American chart-topper’s 2013 LP, “The Marshall Mathers LP 2.”

M-Phazes is the latest artist to join the Eminem-curated tour. Kendrick Lamar was also slated to perform at the Auckland leg of the tour, but had to cancel his appearance due to “unavoidable scheduling conflict.” He will still be at the Australian and South African legs of the festival, though.

Replacing him is the rap collective Odd Future, but an anti-sexual violence group is currently calling for the band’s boycott, citing its abusive lyrics and lead rapper Tyler the Creator’s violent past.

Eminem’s Rapture will kick off on February 15 in Auckland at the Western Springs Stadium, and will then fly to Melbourne on February 19, Brisbane on February 20, and Sydney on February 22.

The festival will also shows at the Cape Town Stadium on February 26 and in Ellis Park Stadium, Johannesburg, South Africa on March 1.

Other acts that are slated to perform in Rapture are J. Cole, Action Bronson, David Dallas, and 360.
