There have been countless "It Girls" that have willed themselves onto the limelight, only to fall down, leaving only a not so tall shadow easily overcome by the next It Girl. However, for Emma Stone, not only did she have to crawl her way to the limelight, but she also knows how to stay in it. Gracing the pages of Interview Magazine is definitely one way to show the world that she's not just that awkward girl everybody loves on screen; she does have that other side waiting to be discovered off-screen.

Emma Stone, the star of the recent superhero movie "Amazing Spider-Man", showed fans and the world that she definitely is not the girl that used to talk into the camera back in "Easy A", sporting a very retro-futuristic styled fashion.

Aside from the "Blade Runner" inspired theme for the shoot, the 23-year-old also revealed some things about getting her heart broken, saying that she remembers crawling on the floor, as well as throwing up.

"Like, within the hour. I remember being on the floor... I have never felt anything quite like that. It was so visceral. It's like someone has killed you and you have to live through it and watch it happen... It was awful." she reiterates to Interview Magazine, as reported by Celebuzz.

Emma Stone is currently dating her "Amazing Spider-Man" co-star, Andrew Garfield, after meeting him on the set.

In the movie, she portrayed Gwen Stacy, the love interest of Peter Parker who, coincidentally, is played by no other than Garfield. He is her first high profile boyfriend.

Emma keeps the interview fresh by playing interviewer, gamely asking how the magazine writer experienced his first heartbreak, with both of them giving a back-and-forth of dialogue as to what they felt and how it helps on landing a role. In the end, Emma states that everybody just needs to move on.

"You heal yourself. It's weird when you can't make yourself cry with the same things anymore." Emma answers Interview.

Even without the photos and the striking photos, Emma has made it point to show in the interview alone that she is a strong-willed woman, and nothing, not even a heartbreak, can stop her.
