British actress Emma Watson's embrace with on-screen nudity might give her the chance of bagging the coveted role of Anastasia Steele in the upcoming movie adaptation of the erotic novel "Fifty Shades of Grey."

The "Harry Potter" star has not yet confirmed the rumors that she has been approached by the film casting team. However, Emma Watson revealed her excitement upon being constantly mentioned to be cast in the much anticipated film. Nonetheless, the young actress is preparing herself for a big career move with her willingness to film nude scenes.

"It's very exciting that people are starting to see me in a different way. It means that they're allowing me the space to grow and develop and reincarnate myself. I've been saying since I was 16 that if it's the right role and important for character development and the story, then of course I'll do it," Watson told Hello! magazine.

Meanwhile, Emma Watson faces tough competition in getting the role of Anastasia Steele with other actresses who are also comfortable with nude scenes. "Twilight" actress Kristen Stewart and Emilia Clarke has also been mentioned on the list of possible actresses that can portray Anastasia Steele. Recently, Kristen Stewart went topless for her film "On The Road" while Emilia Clarke's character in "Game of Thrones" require her to get naked in almost every episode.

Nudity is an important aspect in order to portray Anastasia Steele in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" film. Actress Emmy Rossum can also be considered in portraying Anastasia Steele after stripping down in "Shameless." In addition to the list of actresses, Emily Browning may also have the possibility of being cast for the female lead role in "Fifty Shades of Grey." Her character in the 2011 film "Sleeping Beauty" required the actress to film a lot of nude scenes.
