Since the Harry Potter series ended, British actress Emma Watson tore herself away from her stereotypical goody two shoes image and attempt to be a more versatile actress.

The 22-year-old actress currently graced the front cover of the trendy fashion magazine, Nylon, with her "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" co-stars Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller.

On the cover of the said magazine, Emma showed off her fierce side by taking center stage at the photo shoot. Emblazoned with the type 'the it issue' Watson certainly looks like an 'It Girl' as she peers into the lens with confidence, and apparently knew exactly what she wanted on the shoot.

Michelle Reneay, Nylon's market editor, said: ''She didn't want to wear earrings - so at one point she took an actual safety pin, cut off the sharp end, and put it through her ear.''

She stayed true to the image of her recent characters in the films "Perks of Being a Wallflower" and "The Bling Ring."

There is a big difference on how Emma looked during her Harry Potter days and her recent image. Emma rose to fame as the muggle born, geeky wizard Hermione Granger.

However, Emma does not want to be stereotyped as her character in Harry Potter in order to open more opportunities for her career growth. Thus, she cut her hair in a pixie look and take over Hollywood.
