Emma Watson: Fierce and Fabulous for Vogue's July cover [PHOTOS]
Emma Watson, the Harry Potter actress, shows a glamorous and fashion forward side on the cover of Vogue's July issue, wearing designer dresses fit for a true movie star.
The 21-year-old spoke to the fashion magazine about her life outside the billion dollar movie franchise. Forced in the limelight while still young, Emma Watson had a difficult childhood - especially with her parents divorcing when she was just 5 years old. Emma shows a different personality from what she is perceived in the limelight as she discusses her love for the fine arts, divulging her hobby as an illustrator and a painter.
Emma recently broke actress stereotypes as she enrolled in Brown University, one of the most prestigious institutions in the country. Emma left Brown to transfer to a different school because the courses she wanted weren't offered there, and not because of bullying allegations. "I have felt for the last ten years I have had this battle; I've been fighting so hard to have an education. It's been this uphill struggle", says the actress in the article posted by Vogue.com.
In the photos, Emma wears glamorous dresses; accessories and make-up that make her look like the box office queen that she is. Tom Ford, Dolce & Gabbana and Prada are only some of the brands the harry Potter star wore with her pixie cut hair-do and porcelain doll skin. A true fashion fan, Emma has worked with high fashion brand Burberry to star in their 2009 fall campaign. While not doing campaigns for luxurious brands, Emma expresses her admiration and attraction towards young and trendy designers Erdem Moralioglu and Hakaan Yildirim. She is quoted saying "If people are going to write about what I'm wearing, then I would wear young British designers who need the publicity" in the same article on Vogue.
