Much anticipated movie adaptation of Stephen Chobsky's book "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" finally revealed its poster and teaser trailer.

"The Perks of Being a Wallflower" debuts its first teaser in the MTV Awards 2012 introduced by the lovely Nina Dobrev. The sneak peak of the movie shows the scene when Sam (Emma Watson) is crying with Charlie (Logan Lerman).

"Why do I and everyone I love pick people who treat us like we're nothing?" Charlie replied, "We accept the love we think we deserve." They are seen hugging at the end of the sneak peek.

While the teaser trailer showed the love interest of Charlie, the poster followed a minimalist design that shows Emma Watson, Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller standing against a yellow green wall, which is the color of the first cover of the book.

The movie is based on the 1999 best-selling novel of Stephen Chobsky that tells a coming of age story of Charlie and his experiences and realizations about growing up. It beautifully presented the highs and lows of being a teenager. The book is often compared to J.D. Salinger's controversial yet highly recommended novel "Catcher in the Rye."

Other film stars include Nina Dobrev, Paul Rudd, Mae Whitman and Johnny Simmons. The movie will be shown in September 13. There is no word yet about its Australian release.
