British actress and Harry Potter alumnae Emma Watson finally reacted to the rumors attaching her name to the movie adaptation of the popular erotic novel "Fifty Shades of Grey."

To the dismay of many people, there is no truth to the ongoing rumors and the actress is not casted. The actress made it clear that she has not received a phone call yet from the producers or director of the much awaited film.

"I haven't read the book, I haven't read a script, nothing. There are so many movies you become attached to when I've literally never even received a phone call. It was the same way with 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' - I never even saw a script!" the actress told Entertainment Weekly.

Emma thought that she needed to address the report since some of her friends and family kept asking her if she was really in talks to play Anastasia Steele or not.

"I told them just because there are 60 articles on the Internet doesn't mean it's any less true than if there are there or four. The thing is I'm not going to go out there every time someone attaches me to a film to say no or release a statement," the beautiful young actress said.

Rumors that Emma Watson was casted emerged in the past weeks. The actress is believed to be one of the frontrunners in the role of Anastacia Steele who was involved in a BDSM relationship with charismatic and good looking billionaire Christian Grey.

The producers of the "Fifty Shades of Grey "movie adaptation, Mike De Luca and Dana Brunetti, already denied all the casting rumors through their Twitter accounts. The two said that no one has been casted yet as they need to find a writer and a director first.

Emma Watson is busy with her other commitments, she will next be seen in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower". She recently finished shooting Sofia Coppola's "The Bling Ring" and is currently busy working on Darren Aronofsky's biblical epic "Noah".
