Emma Watson Stars in 'Beauty & the Beast' to Shoot this Summer [PHOTOS]
"Harry Potter" may be over and done but the careers of the actors and actresses in the film isn't far from over. In fact, Emma Watson, the famous Hermione Granger, is filming one film to the next given her impeccable acting skills and gorgeous looks.
Another film Watson fans have to watch out for is Guillermo Del Toro's remake of "Beauty & the Beast" set to shoot this summer.
Watson has been making waves in the industry. For one, Emma didn't just make a mark in the film business. The lovely actress has also been an iconic name in the fashion industry as the face of Lancôme. As for films, Watson is set to star as Nikki in Sofia Coppola's remake of "Bling Ring." Another film starring Watson where she is joined once again by "Perks" co-star, Logan Lerman, is "Noah."
The biblical story set to turn into a film will be directed by Oscar nominee, Darren Aronofsky. "Bling Ring" and "Noah" aren't the only films that Emma Watson fans should look out for. The live-action remake of "Beauty and the Beast" to be directed by the visionary director, Guillermo del Toro is set to star Emma Watson as Beauty. So what exactly is happening now?
"Guillermo del Toro, the director, has just finished editing his last film and is working on the script and pre-production for Beauty and the Beast," said Emma in an interview back in June via her Facebook page.
"We [del Toro and I] met a week or two ago, and we started working on the script, and it's going to go next summer," confirmed Watson in an interview with MTV, adding, "It's so funny, obviously I've been doing a lot of other work, and I was nervous. I was like, 'Is this going to go away?' And Guillermo is so psyched about it, and he's like been thinking about it so much."
The role of Beauty might have been filled out by Watson but Del Toro still has his eye out for a potential actor set to play Beast. A lot of "Harry Potter" fans have been nominating Tom Felton, best known for his character as Tom Felton. "Dramione" fans have been dead set on casting Felton for the role but news has it that the search still continues.
With February freshly rolling it, it'll be a short while before Del Toro announces his choice for Beast in the said film. Hopefully, whoever he is, he manages to match the lovely and talented Emma Watson.
