Emma Watson Thanks Fans For 'HeForShe' Support, Twitter HQ Paints Hashtag #HeForShe On Wall [PHOTOS]
After her empowering speech in New York on gender equality, Emma Watson's campaign "HeForShe" has been quite successful as well. Apart from gaining support from her "Harry Potter" fan base, the British actress has gained enormous support from A-list Hollywood celebrities as well. Following the support on Twitter, Emma had tweeted her immense gratitude.
Proving that she truly appreciates the effort and support, Emma Watson took to Twitter to thank the thousands of people who had joined her "HeForShe" campaign. The campaign aims to end gender inequality with males also taking part in the fight.
A number of A-list male celebs have already showed their support of which include Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth, Russell Crowe, Tom Hiddleston and Harry Styles. Of course, leave it to Emma to thank her fans and celebs taking part of the campaign in the best way possible.
"I can't thank you all enough. #HeForShe," stated Watson.
From the day "HeForShe" campaign had been launched, 1.1 million tweets have already been posted. 1.2 billion users have taken part of it as well. Celebrating the massive support, Twitter had painted the hashtag #HeForShe on the wall of their headquarters of which Emma had also tweeted. Check it out here.
The fight for gender equality continues and "HeForShe" campaign by Emma Watson also continues to gain support. While she's not busy being the UN Women Goodwill Ambassador, Emma is busy working on her career as an actress.
The former Hogwarts alumni was spotted in Luxembourg for her latest film "Colonia." "Colonia" is a political thriller that follows Emma on her search for her boyfriend who had gone missing. Apart from "Colonia," Watson worked on another thriller film entitled "Regression" early this year opposite Ethan Hawke. Watson is reportedly set to play the part of Belle in the film adaptation of "Beauty & the Beast."
