The "Emmerdale" cast, including Roxy Shahidi (Leyla), Duncan Preston (Doug), Fiona Wade (Priya), Sally Dexter (Faith), Michelle Hardwick (Vanessa), Dominic Brunt (Paddy) and Zoe Henry (Rhona), will star in a new episode of the British soap opera. It will air in the UK on Thursday at 7 pm on ITV. It will show Vanessa informing Rhona about the police interrogating her and Paddy. It has something to do with Pierce (Jonathan Wrather). Digital Spy reports that in "Emmerdale" Season 16, episode 109, Leyla will become more suspicious of Pete (Anthony Quinlan) after they return from the holiday. She'll start to feel that something is not right between them. She'll also notice that Priya is being evasive. As for Rhona, she will worry about what will happen to them in the future because of Pierce's actions.

Vanessa will also tell Rhona about how she, and Paddy will be questioned about Pierce by the police, according to the ITV website. Meanwhile, Faith will try to cheer up Doug, and Leyla will have a heart-to-heart talk with Priya.

Plus, Moira (Natalie J. Robb) will help out Finn even if she was reluctant to do so. As for Cain (Jeff Hordley), he will stand by Harriet (Katherine Dow Blyton). The truth about their affair will also come out.

'Emmerdale' recap of the episode on Wednesday, June 21

On Wednesday's episode, Finn (Joe Gill) felt horrified and helpless after the stabbing incident that he recently witnessed. It's still unclear if the victim will make it out alive after being rushed to the hospital and slipping into a coma. As for Faith and Doug, they were the centre of attention as they showed off their dance moves.

Meanwhile, Chrissie (Louise Marwood) demanded answers after Lawrence (John Bowe) revealed some shocking details. Elsewhere, Pollard (Chris Chittell) felt jealous. Plus, Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) tried to call Doug, who wasn't able to answer his phone because he was too distracted dancing with Faith.

Plus, Harriet underwent surgery but she had some complications. Cain was angry at what happened to her and was planning on getting revenge. As for Lawrence, he was thinking of "taking care" of Chrissie's real uncle. This time, he was plotting to do it for good.

"Emmerdale" episodes air in the UK on ITV from Mondays to Fridays at 7 pm British Summer Time (BST). On Friday, the Pierce case will continue to unfold and take its toll on those that are involved.
