KISS is the best, when you are in doubt. The "Nurse Jackie" star Merritt Wever went with the KISS formula of keeping it short and simple. It looks like the girl has given one of the most memorable acceptance speeches at the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards.

Wever said only a few words after accepting her first ever Emmy on Sunday night. Her role as Zoey Barkow on the hit Showtime comedy series, got her the best supporting actress this year, and she looked stunned when her name was called out on the stage.

She was so stunned that she didn't seem to know what to say during her debut acceptance speech.

"Thank you so much," Wever said.

After a tiny pause, she continued, "I gotta go. Bye."

The speech was for maybe 10 seconds but a memorable one for the audience.

And she walked off from the stage with her Emmy statuette.

Indeed, she kept it short and sweet as she looked graceful and elegant in that black and white dress of hers.

Backstage, she talked to a reporter about her and still looked pretty surprised.

"I wanted to thank a lot of people, uh it's happening again," Wever said as she loses her chain of thoughts. "I don't know...I'm scared because it was unexpected, so I don't know how I feel yet. I mean, I have therapy next week," she added.

She revealed that she wanted to thank many people for this win, especially, "everyone at Showtime" and her co-star Edie Falco.

Wever left past Mayim Balik ("The Big Bang Theory"), Sofia Vergara ("Modern Family"), Anna Chlumsky ("Veep"), Jane Krakowski (30 Rock"), and Jane Lynch ("Glee").

Last year, Wever got her first Emmy nomination for her role, but it was only this year she managed to win the Emmy statuette.

Congratulations to Wever on her first Emmy win! Way to go!
