Emotional Chrissy Teigen pleads not to be asked about having kids with John Legend [Video]

Chrissy Teigen has spoken up about her struggles with pregnancy. The model expressed her hurt over questions about her intention to have kids with her husband John Legend, 36, during a guest appearance on Tyra Bank’s new show “FabLife.”

In the video below, Teigen is seen expressing her annoyance at the press for being nosy about her plans to start a family. The supermodel also revealed how she and John have always thought of having kids even before they got married but that they are “having trouble” getting pregnant.

“I will say, honestly, John and I are having trouble. We would have kids five, six years ago if it had happened. But my gosh, it’s been a process!” she says.

Chrissy revealed that she and John have seen fertility doctors for help and were surprised at the “shame” that hopeful parents felt when they hear the bad news.

“We've seen fertility doctors and once you open up about those things to other people you learn that a lot of other people in your life are seeing these people and they have this shame about it,” she says.

Teigen continued and says, “So, anytime somebody asks me if I’m going to have kids, I’m like, ‘One day, you’re going to ask that to the wrong girl who is really struggling, and it’s going to be really hurtful to them’ and I hate that.”

The 29-year old ended her pregnancy revelation with a firm and somewhat irritated look on her face as she says, “So I hate it. Stop asking me!” Her parting remarks were rewarded with an applause from the studio audience.

Teigen’s statements also prompted Tyra to open up about her struggles with pregnancy, telling everyone on the show that it hasn’t been easy for her too. The show host also expressed her irritation at social media trolls who keep asking her when she’s going to have kids.

Chrissy has previously expressed her intention to have kids “soon” with John. Teigen, who has been married with Legend for two years, told People during a May exclusive interview that they definitely want to have children.

“We love kids. I picture us with three or four,” she said.
