‘Empire’ Season 2 Episode 4 Spoilers: Lyon family set aside their differences to shoot a music video [VIDEO]
“Empire” Season 2 Episode 3 saw Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) getting better of Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) and her Dynasty, as he also managed to steal her talented singer Valentina (Becky.G). Also by taking control of leading radio stations, Hip-Hop and R&B stations across the U.S., Lucious increased Cookie's miseries.
With such developments in the last episode, it was expected that the “Empire” Episode 4, titled "Poor Yorick," will feature continued family bickering. But, according to the synopsis, despite their differences, the Lyons decide to shoot a music video featuring Jamal (Jussie Smollett) and Hakeem (Bryshere Gray). It’s a duet from Hakeem’s leaked album, and with this music video Empire and Dynasty seem to have patched up, though it is to be seen for what and for how long.
The theme -- fiery setting with a steel cage -- of the Lyon brothers' music video has been borrowed from the latest "Mad Max" movie. It does not look like their performance will show brotherly love, as speculations are rife about Hakeem doing something during the performance to get back at Lucious for taking away Valentina from him.
Meanwhile, Emperor of Empire, Lucious, is still forbidden by law to actively run his company, as the sword of the federal murder case is still hanging over his head. In Episode 4 of "Empire" Season 4, he will be seen desperate to find Vernon, with the intention to make him disappear for ever.
However, the trailer shows Andre (Trai Byers) and Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday) exhuming Vernon's corpse from where they had originally buried it. Both of them look horrified while digging in the woods. Andre is surely leaving no stone unturned to get his father’s attention.
The teaser also shows an FBI raid on Lucious’ house, which is led by prosecutor Roxanne Ford (Tyra Ferrel). Lucious is shown topless, and he can be seen charmingly saying “Look wherever you like.” Instead of being worried, Lucious is later shown high-fiving Mimi Whiteman (Marisa Tomei) and saying, “we are so dangerous that even the FBI wants to shut us down.”
Lucious believes that he is still invincible, but the federal murder case and the disturbances in his family might prove him wrong in the upcoming episode.
Empire” Season 2 Episode 4, “Poor Yorick," airs on Fox at 9 p.m. on Oct. 14 in the U.S.
